Abstract

The regularities of the scandium extraction by cation exchange reagent were investigated in depending on the acidity of the aqueous phase, temperature, the nature of the solvent and the extractant. The obtained data indicate di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (D2EHPA) is an effective extractant for extraction of scandium in the organic phase. It is stated that sufficient extraction of scandium (R _Sc- 99.8%) is achieved at pH=1.3.
