Abstract

For the first time the possibility of intensifying the grinding process of pure sulfur (a substance of 33% sulfur ointment) with the use of surfactant – sodium lauryl sulfate (LS-Na); gelatosa and their mixture was shown. The dispersing activity of surfactant is explained with Rehbinder effect. It was found out that efficiency of intensification of grinding process depends on the nature of surface active substances; and can be placed in the following row: LS-Na < gelatosa < mixture of LS-Na and gelatosa (1:4). It was determined that there was a depending correlation between dispersity of the substance and anti-inflammatory activity of sulfur ointment.
